Please note the new rules and requirements for entry into Georgia for foreign citizens. Effective January 1, 2026, valid medical insurance issued by a Georgian or foreign insurance company is mandatory.
Requirements:
1. Coverage – Health and Accidents
2. Minimum coverage limit: 30,000 GEL
3. Policy language – Georgian or English
4. Format – printed or electronic
5. Insurance validity – for the entire period of stay in Georgia.
